January 28, 2020 - Janet Kobylski has been appointed Vice President for Business Affairs, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at King’s College following a national search.  She joined the King’s community in mid-January.

Kobylski will serve as the chief business officer of the College and support the mission of the College through effective leadership, analysis and planning of college finances, business operations, information technology, human resources, auxiliary enterprises, and facility operations.

Prior to joining King’s, Kobylski was Associate Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for Wilkes University. Her 10-year career at Wilkes also included service as Interim Vice President of Finance and Assistant Vice President of Finance and Treasurer.  Prior to her work in higher education, she held various finance leadership roles, primarily with public corporations and private equity owned companies. She has more than 25 years of financial and administrative management experience. 

Kobylski is a graduate of King’s and a life-long resident of the Wyoming Valley.  She is a licensed member of the both the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).  She is affiliated with several professional associations, including both the Eastern and the National Association of College and University Business Officers (EACUBO and NACUBO, respectively). She is active community member through service on various Boards of Directors and organizational committees.
