Wilkes-Barre, Pa., August 29, 2022 - King’s College will host its annual Homecoming and Reunion celebrations on September 16, 17, and 18 with weekend activities including campus tours, an alumni golf tournament and athletic matches, reunion receptions, and the homecoming football game.
On Friday, September 16, the College will host the Alumni Golf Tournament at 10 a.m. at Mountain Laurel Golf Club in White Haven, Pa. Mass will be held at the Chapel of Christ the King at 12:05 p.m., and a campus tour will be held at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday, September 17, activities revolve around the homecoming football game against Del Val Aggies with festivities beginning at 11 a.m. at Betzler Athletic Complex. Guests will enjoy a barbeque cookout, beer tent, yard games, and bounce houses for young children. Kick-off is at 1 p.m. Saturday evening will include a special reunion reception for the Class of 1972 Golden Monarchs celebrating their 50th anniversary as well as the Class of 1992 celebrating their 30th anniversary and the Class of 1997 Silver Monarchs celebrating their 25th anniversary. Graduates from the Classes of 2007, 2012, 2017, and 2022 will also be celebrated.
On Sunday, September 18, the College will host an alumni reunion Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Christ the King with a farewell reception following.
