April 4, 2019 – On March 25, Katie Kemmerer, Community Affairs Analyst, and George M. Johnson, Jr., Director, Client Management for Highmark visited King’s College campus to present Rev. John Ryan, C.S.C., Ph.D., President of King’s College with a check for $20,000 in support of the College’s Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Program. Highmark donated to King’s as part of the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. 

King’s College will utilize the funds for its Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Program, in which scholarships are provided to income eligible families with young children enrolled in King’s College’s Early Learning Center’s Pre-K program located in O’Hara Hall.
