Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – Stephen M. Brand ’15, D.M.D., donated $2,000 as part of a new annual scholarship that provides tuition assistance to King’s College students seeking a future in dentistry.

Each academic year the Brand Dental Scholarship will be awarded to one student who is interested in pursuing a related career or has a declared interest in the King’s College pre-dental track. The first award will be available in the Fall 2023.

“King’s College provided me the tools and opportunities to become successful and follow my passion of dentistry,” said Dr. Brand. “By giving back to the students of King’s, I hope to contribute to the same opportunities and amazing education provided to me, and help usher in the next generation of young dentists."

After finishing his undergraduate degree at King’s College, Dr. Brand attended the Boston University Henry N. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Brand then opened Brand Dental in Kingston, Pa., with his father Dr. Charles Brand, where they currently serve patients across Northeast Pennsylvania.
