Wilkes-Barre, Pa., April 4, 2022—Recent graduate Caroline Jones ’18 donated $1,000 to King’s College in support of her newly formed scholarship, the Caroline Jones Women in Business Scholarship, which will be awarded annually.

In appreciation of the education she received at King’s, Jones has established a direct scholarship fund to assist current students with tuition expenses. Each academic year starting this fall semester, one woman from the McGowan School of Business will receive $1,000 towards their education. The student will be chosen based on their academic performance, leadership skills, and business acumen.

“The more my career progresses, the more grateful I am for the education and opportunities I received at King’s College,” said Jones. “King’s truly helped me develop a foundation, a confidence, and a real passion for learning, leading, and service. I’m proud to have started the Caroline Jones Women in Business Scholarship so that I can give back to King’s College and help college women who aspire to have a career in business as well.”

Jones is a financial advisor and assistant vice president of The Princeton Group, Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. She graduated summa cum laude in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, double majoring in management and marketing and minoring in leadership studies.
