Cantores Christi Regis is the premiere performance choir on campus and builds upon the traditions set forth by the previous King’s choirs, The Men in Red and Les Chanteuse.  The camaraderie between students makes this ensemble a unique experience at King’s; many students make friendships that last long after their time at King’s is completed.  To many members, CCR is a family.

Cantores Christi Regis performs two concerts each year and sings at various events on and off campus.  The music performed by CCR is a mixture of sacred, secular, classical, and modern pieces, including both jazz and modern hits. The choir rehearses 2-3 times a week, with each rehearsal lasting approximately 90 minutes.

Prospective members of Cantores Christi Regis must audition.  The audition consists of singing a song of your choice, “Happy Birthday”, and a warm-up to ensure proper vocal placement.

Students interested in auditioning for this ensemble should sign-up at the beginning of each academic year for an audition time by contacting the director. You can also check us out on Facebook at
