Almost, Maine
ALMOST, MAINE BY JOHN CARIANI
AUDITIONS:
AUGUST 26, 2013
Welcome to the town of Almost, Maine: 450 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts, not a lobster in sight! On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend-almost-in this delightful midwinter night's dream.

  October 5 and 6 @ 2:00 PM

RABBIT HOLE charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day. David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted a drama that's not just a departure but a revelation-an intensely emotional examination of grief, laced with wit, insightfulness, compassion and searing honesty. Winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize.

Spring 2014

Guys and Dolls
GUYS AND DOLLS BY FRANK LOESSER, JO SWERLING, ABE BURROWS
AUDITIONS:
DECEMBER 9, 2013
Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, this oddball romantic comedy soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters who have become legends in the canon: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight "mission doll," out to reform the evildoers of Time Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the chronically ill nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancé, desperate as always to find a sport for his infamous floating craps game. Guys and Dolls is a classic American Musical Comedy that is sure to please!
PERFORMANCES: February 13, 14, 15 and 20, 21, 22 @ 7:30 PM
  February 16 @ 2:00 PM
A Midsummer Night's Dream
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
AUDITIONS:
FEBRUARY 17, 2014
In Shakespeare's best-loved comedy, opposites seek balance as a flurry of human and supernatural activity unfolds in an Athenian forest. As the royals Theseus and Hippolyta prepare to marry, four young lovers flee to the forest in the wake of parental disapproval. But in the woodland, these lovers' lives are complicated upon crossing paths with feuding faerie royalty. As Oberon and Titania bicker over a changeling child, the mischievous Puck and his sprightly accomplices use herbal spells to hilariously complicate the love-mad quartet's forest idyll. When a group of local rustics rehearsing a play for the Athens wedding also seek the quiet of the forest, the spells and confusions wrought seem unlikely to ever sort themselves out.
PERFORMANCES: April 9, 10, 11 and 12 @ 7:30 PM
  April 13 @ 2:00 PM
