Michelle Gauntlett is a graduate of the King's College Physician Assistant Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2000. Upon graduation she worked in Family Practice and Internal Medicine for four years. She then moved into Rheumatology and has been practicing Rheumatology for the past 19 years. She continues to practice Rheumatology on a part time basis. This allows her to stay up to date with the skills necessary to provide current medical care in today’s fast-paced, and ever changing, medical field. She aspires to pass along her knowledge and enthusiasm for patient care to both her students and patients.
Mrs. Gauntlett joined the faculty in 2022. She works as the Assistant Clinical Director aiding in the advisement and assessment of students, clinical site development/recruitment, and clinical curriculum review and development. She teaches Rheumatology in the didactic phase along with proctoring exams for physical diagnosis lab and OSCEs. She is a fellow member of the AAPA and PSPA.
Outside of teaching and practicing medicine, Mrs. Gauntlett enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She enjoys the beach, exercising, being outside, and entertaining.
