About the Program

Monarch Mentors is a new informal program that allows students, alumni, and professionals to connect on the College's official LinkedIn Group, King's College, Pennsylvania Alumni. Participants make their own connections, and there are no formal requirements or time commitments to participate. Your mentoring relationship can be face to face, via e-mail, or over the phone; however, we strongly encourage you to arrange your first meeting to be in person.

The alumni group is open to all King's students and alumni seeking career advice or exposure to new career fields from alumni, who offer a breadth of experience with 5-years to more than 20-years of experience. While the Mentoring Program is not a vehicle to ask for an internship or job, it is a great way to explore career opportunities, build relationships, and expand your King's alumni network.

To gain access to the network, join the King's College, Pennsylvania Alumni group. Then, request membership in the Monarch Mentors subgroup. (From the main group, click "More," then "Subgroups.")

If you need assistance, alumni should contact Jessica Kush, Office Coordinator, Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at alumni@kings.edu or (570) 208-5879. Students should contact Kelly Gibbons, Administrative Assistant, Office of Career Planning at (570) 208-5874.
