Our department provides support through several offices and programs:

  • Office of Academic Advisement
  • Office of KC Pathways
  • Office of the Registrar
  • Academic Skills Center
  • McGowan Hispanic Outreach Center
  • Retention Services

Our Mission

The Academic Success Department collaborates with campus constituencies to develop innovative, data driven approaches that improve student success, retention, persistence, and completion, while celebrating the individuality, fostering the well-being, and promoting the inclusivity of all students.

A Message from the Associate Vice President for Academic Success

“Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.” – Malcolm X

Helping students succeed is serious business. Granting access, especially to underserved students, is critical to our work and invaluable for the success of our students. Ensuring their dream of graduation occurs is our number one priority. Our students along with their parents and families become a part of the King’s College Monarchs family the moment they begin their academic career with us. This includes our traditional, non-traditional/adult learner, transfer, international, and commuter students. There is a place for everyone at King’s College.

Academic Success staff are professionals who provide support and guidance to help students, parents, and families navigate the college process. Your voice and experience at our campus matters. Our dedicated team will partner with you every step of the way. Preparation is key; contact us today, so your tomorrow is better.

Sincerely,
