KING'S 28TH ANNUAL FLEA MARKET AND ANTIQUE SALE FEATURES ANTIQUE APPRAISERS

    Licensed antique appraiser Ernie Ashbridge, along with Steve Traver, will be on hand at the 28th Annual King's College Antique & Collectible Sale and Flea Market to appraise antiques and memorabilia for $5 per item on Saturday, March 23. Visitors are welcome to bring their treasures from home to see what they're really worth.
    The flea market will held in the Scandlon Physical Education Center, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 with an admission charge of $2 for adults and on Sunday, March 24 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission. More than 100 vendors are expected to participate.
    Antique dealers or vendors wishing to rent table space or persons wishing to donate flea market type items should call the King's College Alumni Office, (570) 208-5879, to make arrangements. Dealer space is $40 for the two days. Flea market items are being accepted upon prior arrangement with the alumni office. Clothing, large furniture, or damaged goods are not being accepted.
    The annual event, which benefits the Robert J. Ell Scholarship Fund at King's, will be co-chaired by Ell's daughters, Chrissy Ell Darby '84, and Bonnie Ell Kunkle, and his daughter-in-law, Babette Ell.
