KING'S COLLEGE
STUDENTS TRAVEL ABROAD
September 28, 2005 – During the fall semester,
four King's College students will study and intern far from home:
Lauren Bonanni, Harwood, Md., is a senior majoring in marketing with a
minor in Business Administration. She is participating in an internship for
Professional Development in Australia through a program sponsored by AustraLearn
in partnership with Global Internship Services.
Kathryn Lala, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a senior majoring in Elementary and
Special Education. She is student teaching in London, England, through the
King's College London Internship Program.
Melissa Pregmon, Scranton, Pa., is a junior majoring in Political
Science. She is interning with the law firm of Hodge Jones and Allen in London,
England, through the King's College London Internship Program.
Bradley Rosato, McAdoo, Pa., is a sophomore majoring in Biology. He
is studying at Macquarie University in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia,
through AustraLearn.
In addition, King’s students currently completing a year of study abroad are
junior Melanie Makuta, Freeland, who was awarded a full-tuition scholarship from
the Irish-American Scholars Program, to study at the Queen’s University in
Belfast, Northern Ireland; and Jason Oatridge, Wilkes-Barre, is a junior
majoring in English studying in Rome, as part of the King's College-John Cabot
University Program.
The King's College Study Abroad Program, under the direction of Mollie Farmer,
has forged strong relationships with affiliated study-abroad institutions around
the world to give King's students useful and valuable educational and internship
opportunities through travel and study in other countries.
