BROOKE POLACHEK OF KING'S COLLLEGE

RECEIVES PHELAN SCHOLARSHIP

September 26, 2005 – Brooke Polachek, a student at King’s College, was awarded the Katherine E. Phelan Memorial Scholarship for her academic performance in King’s Physician Assistant Program. Polachek received the $2,000 scholarship to continue her education in 2005-2006. She is a senior in the five-year master’s degree program and resides in Swoyersville.
 
The Katherine E. Phelan Memorial Scholarship is an annual award presented to a student on the basis of financial need and academic achievement in the King’s College Physician Assistant Program. Terence and Linda Phelan, residents of Mountain Top, endow the scholarship to honor the memory of their daughter Katherine.
