July 19, 2005 –King’s College recently held its annual Rev. Paul Farber, C.S.C., Memorial Golf Tournament at Mill Race Golf and Camping Resort in Benton. An all-time record of 140 alumni and friends participated in the tournament, which is celebrating its 21st year. Paul Farber Scholarship Fund and $10,000 will go to the Annual Fund Community Campaign. Sodexho is the provider of food and other campus services at King's College.

This year’s tournament championship went to Dr. Charles Blewitt’s team. The event featured a captain and crew format, and the day concluded with cocktails, dinner and an awards ceremony.

Father Paul Farber, for whom the tournament was named, was a Wilkes-Barre native and director of annual giving programs at King’s. He passed away while on a missionary activity in Peru.
