"DANGEROUS? V.S." EXHIBITION

ON DISPLAY AT KING'S COLLEGE

April 27, 2005– “DANGEROUS? V.S.” the original works of James Graham and Patrick Graham will be on display in the Widmann Gallery of the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center at King’s College from May 6 through June 5. A reception for the artists will be held on Friday, May 6, from 6-8 p.m. The public is invited to the event.

James Graham, of Scranton, studied at Wilkes University, Luzerne County Community College, and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He had one-man shows of his work at Luzerne County Community College and at Club 530 in Scranton. Graham incorporates “Electronic Voice Phenomenon” into his artwork that uses video, music, and the people in the gallery.

Patrick Graham studied at the University of Pittsburgh and Luzerne County Community College. He designed the Web sites for FOGELSVILLE4 and Tiny Elephant Records. His spray-painted stencil work and wheat-pasted posters have been displayed in New York, Scranton, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore.

Cousins James and Patrick Graham co-founded FOGELSVILLE4, an art collective of painters, photographers, writers, and musicians. In March 2004, Fogelsville 4 had a collaborative piece accepted in a traveling exhibition sponsored by Amnesty International, opening in Tokyo, Japan.

The exhibition is free and open to the public from May 6 through June 5. Gallery hours: Mon., Thurs., and Fri., 10-4; Tue., Wed., 10-8., Sat. and Sun., 1-4 p.m. The Widmann Gallery, Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, is located between North Franklin and North Main streets.
