LIFEGUARD TRAINING AND FIRST AID WORKSHOP

AT KING'S COLLEGE FROM APRIL 5-21

March 29, 2005 – King’s College has teamed up with the American Red Cross for a Health and Safety Services training workshop featuring lectures and demonstrations on lifeguard training and first aid skills. Lifeguard Training and First Aid certification and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification will be awarded upon completion of the course.

The program at King’s College will be held from April 5 to April 21, on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from 6- 9:30 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. A total of 27 hours of instruction will be provided during the program. Authorized Red Cross Lifeguard instructor for the program is King’s College Swim Coach Suzanne Youngblood.
