KING'S ALL-COLLEGE PHOTOGRAPHY AND
VARIETY OF MEDIA EXHIBITION, APRIL 4 - MAY 1
March 31, 2005– The artistic vision and talents of the King’s College community will be on view in the 17th Annual All-College and Variety of Media exhibition. Opening in the Widmann Gallery of the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center on Monday, April 4, the show features a meet-the-artists reception in the gallery on Friday, April 8, from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. The exhibition continues through Sunday, May 1.
Members of the King’s community, including faculty, staff, students, and alumni display their original works: photographs, paintings, drawings, sculpture, crafts, and other artwork. In its 17th year, the event allows the entire college community to view and appreciate the artistic talents of their friends, colleagues, and peers on their own campus in their own gallery. It is as much a communal event as a cultural one.
The exhibition is free and open to the public from April 4 through May 1. Gallery hours: Mon., Thurs., and Fri., 10-4; Tue., Wed., 10-8., Sat. and Sun., 1-4 p.m. The Widmann Gallery, Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, is located between North Franklin and North Main streets.
For more information, visit the Experiencing the Arts Calendar at www@kings.edu or contact Widmann Gallery Coordinator Michelle Leonard at (570) 208-5900, ext. 5328.
