KING'S COLLEGE TO EXHIBIT
WORKS OF TALENTED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
November 1, 2005 – The best original works by
local high school students will be showcased at King’s College in The Third
Annual Invitational Emerging Artists Exhibition in the Widmann Gallery in
the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center from Nov. 7 through Dec. 7.
Represented in the show are the works of local area high school students. The
range of talent and quality of the art on display are impressive. This year’s
presentation coordinated by artist Sue Hand is a display of original works by
evolving young talents that pay homage to their teachers.
Two receptions for the young artists will be held on Nov. 16 at 3:30-4:30 p.m.
and from 7-9 p.m. The Widmann Gallery talk is at 8 p.m. The public is invited
attend.
The exhibition is free and open to the public from Nov. 7 through Dec. 7.
Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri. 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., by prior
appointment. The Gallery is closed on national holidays and during scheduled
breaks throughout the academic year. The Widmann Gallery, Sheehy-Farmer Campus
Center, is located between North Franklin and North Main Streets. For more
