KING'S COLLEGE WELCOMES NEW FACULTY

October 3, 2005– For the beginning of the fall semester, King’s College announced the addition of 10 new faculty members:
 
Dr. Garrett Barr is assistant professor of biology. He holds an M.S. and PH.D. from the University of New Hampshire, where he had been an instructor with special concentration in global perspectives on biodiversity, sustainability and climate change.
 
Heather Critchosin, assistant technical professor of education, holds degrees from East Stroudsburg and Bloomsburg universities. From 2000-2003, she was assistant professor of education and supervisor of early childhood education at King’s College. She is executive director of Educational Development Specialists, Inc., Freeland, and Country Charm Learning Center, Inc., Drums.
 
Paul Lamore, assistant professor of business administration, holds an M.B.A. from Providence College (R.I.) where he had been an adjunct instructor in the Department of Management. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Alabama in Hunstville.
 
Dr. Michael Little is assistant professor of English. Previously he was an adjunct technical writer and instructional design specialist at Texas Engineering Extension. He received his M.A. from the University of Houston and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.
 
Dr. Jonathan Malesic, assistant professor of theology, holds a B.A. from Catholic University of America, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia where he was previously visiting fellow at the Center on Religion and Democracy.
 
Dr. Mark Ness is assistant professor of education. He received his master’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his D.Ed. from Penn State University. Previously he was a science teacher at The Villages Charter High School in Florida.
 
Dr. Ryo Ohashi, assistant professor of mathematics, earned his M.S. from the University of Nevada and his Ph.D. from St. Louis University where he also worked as a graduate teaching assistant.
 
Dr. Regan Reitsma, assistant professor of philosophy, was previously an adjunct instructor at King’s College. He holds a Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
 
Ryanne Shotwell, assistant clinical professor of sports medicine, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees  from East Stroudsburg University where she had previously been professor/assistant athletic trainer.
 
Dr. Janice Thompson is assistant professor of theology. She holds a B.A.  from St. John’s College, an M.A. from Boston College, and Ph.D. for the University of Notre Dame. She was previously visiting assistant professor at Notre Dame.
