KING'S HALLOWEEN
NIGHT FOOD DRIVE TO BENEFIT ST. VINCENT DePAUL KITCHEN
October 26, 2005– The King's College Sports Medicine Society will dress up
in their best – or their worst – Halloween costumes to collect
non-perishable food items in Kingston and South Wilkes-Barre to Hanover
Township. The food items will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen
during the 4th Annual "Trick-or-Canning" on Monday, Oct. 31, from 7-9
p.m.
Faculty, Staff, and students will meet in front of King’s Holy Cross Hall on
North Franklin St. at 6:45 p.m. and will return to Holy Cross Hall at
approximately 9 p.m. to compile what they collected, which will be delivered to
the St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen, Jackson St., Wilkes-Barre, on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
The King’s College Sports Medicine Group hopes local citizens in the
collection areas noted above will contribute to this worthy cause. For
additional information, contact Amy Zawadzki, Sports Medicine Society, at
208-5900, ext. 5650.
