February 1, 2021 – King’s College is a proud to be a partner of Poetry in Transit, an award-winning program that showcases poems on Luzerne County buses. The program is currently accepting submissions for the 2021-2022 season. Submissions are open to any writer, regardless of age or location. The submission deadline is Friday, May 14, 2021. Winning submissions will be featured on advertising displays inside Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) busses from August 2021 to July 2022.

Organizations utilize weConnect virtual classroom at King’s

December 9, 2020 – Texas A&M’s Center for Executive Development and MDA Leadership partnered to deliver an engaging and interactive leadership program on Adaptability and Resilience to the senior leadership of a global financial services organization, utilizing the King’s College Barco weConnect virtual classroom located in the Sikorsky Innovation Lab in the William G. McGowan School of Business (MSB).

November 12, 2020 - King’s College announced today to members of its community that it made the difficult but necessary decision to suspend in-person instruction and co-curricular activities, such as athletics, for the fall semester as of the end of the day on Friday, November 13, 2020. In-person classes (both hybrid and traditional formats) will resume through distance learning on Tuesday, November 17 and end as scheduled on Wednesday, November 25. Courses that are currently conducted online will continue as scheduled without disruption. The final exam period will be held virtually, as was previously planned and scheduled, from Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 4.
