November 5, 2014 - Student members of the King's College Sports Medicine Society, along with members of the department's faculty, recently took part in the 13th annual “Trick-or-Canning” food drive.
Approximately 30 members of the group collected non-perishable food items from neighborhoods in Kingston and Mountain Top. The group collected more than 1,200 items that will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre.
October 31, 2014 – King’s College will host several events this fall offering prospective students the opportunity to learn more about King’s College. The primary focus of these programs is to inform and update students and their families on the benefits of pursuing a King’s College education.
October 30, 2014 - Forty Four King’s College students recently travelled to the nation’s capital to participate in the sixth annual Career Day sponsored by the King’s Washington, D.C., Area Alumni Club (KWAC).
The two-day event began with an opening reception. Twenty Washington-area King’s graduates, ranging from the class of 1950 through the class of 2012, hosted the students in their homes that evening.
October 29, 2014 – Dr. Brian Mangan, director of the Environmental Program and professor of environmental science and biology at King’s College, has received a $63,800 research grant from PA Sea Grant to expand his study of crayfish in the Susquehanna River and to develop a reliable method for measuring crayfish density in large streams and rivers.
October 28, 2014 – Rev. Mark Cregan, C.S.C., immigration lawyer and former president of Stonehill College, will discuss United States immigration policy from a perspective of Catholic social teaching at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, in the Burke Auditorium at King’s College.
