October 18, 2017 - In response to the Institute of Medicine’s recommendation that the RN workforce with bachelor’s degrees increase from 50 percent to 80 percent by 2020, King’s College has established a RN to BS in Nursing program. 

October 16, 2017 - King’s College students Hannah Bruseo and James McDonough have been awarded full-tuition scholarships to study during the 2017-18 academic year in Northern Ireland as part of the Irish-American Scholars Program. 

October 16, 2017 - King’s College Chemistry and Physics Derpartment will present a traditional ghoulish exhibition of chemical delights in commemoration of National Chemistry Week and Halloween with the 21th Annual “Things that Go Boom in the Night” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Burke Auditorium, William G. McGowan School of Business, located on North River Street.

October 13, 2017 - Saint Bernardine's Gospel Choir will perform a free concert of traditional gospel songs and contemporary religious compositions at King's College at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, and during the 11 a.m. liturgy on Sunday, Oct. 29, as part of King's “Experiencing the Arts” series.   

October 12, 2017 - King’s College will host diverse writing workshops, roundtable discussions, and open readings as part of the annual Creative Writing Conference on Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11, on the College’s campus in Wilkes-Barre. The conference is sponsored by the English Department and the Campion Society, a student organization dedicated to writing.
