April 2, 2012 – The artistic vision and talents of mass communications students, as well as original works from sculpture classes will be on display in the 24th Annual King’s Student Exhibition from Tuesday, April 10, through May 4 in the Widmann Gallery at King’s College.
More than 20 students will display artwork. Local artists include: Shawna Barcheski, Jessica Krzywicki, and Emily Sepela from Mountain Top; Zach Doleiden, Tobyhanna; Carmella Gubbiotti, Pittston; Karissa Kross, Exeter; Tina Marseco, Luzerne; Janelle Marshallick, Dallas; Sean McGowan, Lake Ariel; Evan Paris, Forty Fort; Chris Sedon, Plains; David Castro and Katie Sudnick, from Wilkes-Barre; and Josh Ulanoski, Drums.
The Widmann Gallery is located in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, located between North Franklin and North Main streets. Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., as arranged. The Gallery is closed on national holidays and during scheduled breaks throughout the academic year.
A meet-the-artists reception will be held in the gallery on Wednesday, April 11, from 6-8 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
