October 28, 2014 - Eight young women from King’s College attended the 11th Annual Pennsylvania Conference for Women held recently in Philadelphia.  The event is the largest women’s conference in the state.

The Pennsylvania Conference for Women is a non-profit, non-partisan, one-day professional and personal development event for women that features dozens of renowned speakers sharing inspirational stories and leading seminars on the issues that matter most to women, including health, personal finance, executive leadership, small business and entrepreneurship, work/life balance, branding and social media marketing, and more.

The trip was sponsored by the College’s Women’s Studies Program and the Office of College Diversity.

Among the guest speakers this year was Jane Pauley, Robin Roberts, and Academy Award-winning actress Diane Keaton.

As the King’s contingent was taking a group photograph, Keaton passed by and got involved in the shot.  The young women actually spent some time with the renowned actress.

King’s College is a Catholic College Sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross.
