For release McGowan Hispanic Outreach Program to offer ESL, computer and writing classes at King's December 3, 2007 – King's College's McGowan Hispanic Outreach Program will offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to help non-English-speaking students and adults develop and improve their English speaking, reading, and writing skills.ESL class schedules vary by skill level. All courses will be held twice weekly from 7-8:30 p.m., beginning on Monday, January 14, and running through May 9. In addition, the McGowan Hispanic Outreach Program will offer a series of eight weekend classes for Hispanic adults and high school students. Adult classes will focus on improving computer skills, while classes for high school students will concentrate on creative writing. Weekend classes will be held from 9:30-11 a.m., beginning Saturday, Feb. 23. All classes will be held in the William G. McGowan School of Business, located on North River Street.
