Calida Barboza is an instruction/reference librarian with the rank of assistant technical professor. She holds a master’s of library and information science degree from Drexel University, and previously served as Library Media Specialist at the Hammond Learning Resource Center at the Milton Hershey School. Dr. Warren Bareiss, assistant professor of mass communications and department chair, previously taught at Penn State Hazleton, where he was “Teacher of the Year” in 2006-07. He earned a doctorate from Indiana University. Dr. Maria Jump, assistant professor of computer science, earned a doctorate at the University of Texas at Austin, where she later taught as assistant instructor. David P. Marchetti, Jr., assistant clinical professor of sports medicine, holds a master’s degree from Salisbury University, and was previously an assistant professor and assistant athletic trainer at Marietta College. Nicole Mares is an assistant professor of history. She holds a master’s degree from Indiana University, where she is also pursuing a doctorate. She was previously the Future Faculty Teaching Fellow at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Cindy Postma is an assistant professor of history. She holds a master’s degree from Columbia University, where she is also pursuing a doctorate. She previously served as Reader in the Government Department at Cornell University and a lecturer at the University of Seoul. Dr. Ardea Russo is an assistant professor of theology. She was previously an instructor in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame, where she earned her doctorate and master of theological studies degree.
