King's names William Behm director of alumni relations
September 25, 2007 – King's College has appointed William Behm director of alumni relations. His primary responsibilities include planning, developing, organizing and coordinating alumni events, including homecoming and reunion weekends, and fund raising programs, such as the College's annual phonathon.
A resident of Mountain Top, Behm earned his bachelor's degree from King's College in 1973. He previously worked at King's as director of major gifts and planned giving and director of annual giving programs. Prior to taking his new position at the College, he worked as the director of development at Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Scranton.
Behm is a board member for Wyoming Valley Children's Association, vice chair of Mountain Top Area Joint Sanitary Authority, president of Wyoming Valley Serra Club, immediate past president of Wilkes-Barre Rotary Club, and a former volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. He is also associate director of the Irish Teacher program at King's.
