Community Leaders Appointed to King's College President's Council

May 7, 2008 – Four community leaders were recently appointed to the King's College President's Council, whose members act as advisors to the College's administration as well as promote the College's mission in the Wyoming Valley.
 
Under the direction of Atty. David Selingo '89, the Council consists of 49 members. Recently appointed to three-year terms were James P. Carmody of West Pittston, vice president of human resources for Wyoming Valley Health Care Systems; George G. Conyngham, Jr., of Shavertown, president of Eastern Penn Supply Co.; Neil Horn ’78 of Kingston, vice president for McCarthy Tire Service; and Scott Sanfilippo ’93 of Moosic, co-founder and president of Solid Cactus, Inc.
 
President’s Council members appointed to three-year terms during the current academic year also include John Daly, Atty. Fred Pettit ’96, and John Loyack '85.

Frank J. Pasquini '71, vice president for institutional advancement; Atty. David Selingo '89, President’s Council chairman; and Rev. Thomas J. O'Hara, C.S.C., Ph.D., ’71, president, King’s College, with new President Council members James Carmody, George Conyngham, and Neil Horn '78. Absent from photo is Scott Sanfilippo '93.
