Through the cooperation of the Student government Executive Board, Class Officers, Liaisons, Advisors, Faculty, and the Student Body, we hope to accomplish:
- Better attendance at Student Government meetings
- Increase awareness of programs and activities taking place on campus and throughout the community
- To have representatives from clubs and organizations attend regularly scheduled meetings to make sure they are up-to-date with news, events, fundraisers, etc.
- To stress and promote the importance of office hours by publicly keeping track of members and how many hours they have put in.
- To stress and promote that the Student Government members represent the school body and should be present at programs, events, and fundraisers as much as possible.
- To update the Student Government website in order to draw more attention from the student body, as well as faculty, staff and administration.
- To raise awareness to students and their involvement with campus wide programs and events such as the new core curriculum, emergency procedures and renovations, etc.
- To continue building a strong relationship with the city of Wilkes-Barre, the King’s College community and the Student Government Association.
- To work together in building a stronger Student Government Association with Wilkes University and other surrounding schools.
- To redesign the Student Government room and window to make it more welcoming in order to promote Student Government.
