SECURITY POLICIES & PROCEDURES

The Campus Security and Safety Department strives to maintain compliance with The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, the Penna. College and University Security Information Act, act 73 of 1988 and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (pa law 101-226). The Department publishes a Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act brochure every year.

The Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act brochure contains information on:

  • Security Services
  • Relationships with Local Authorities
  • Enrollment/Student & Staff Populations
  • Campus Security Programs
  • Facilities
  • Alcoholic Beverage Policy
  • Alcohol Education & Treatment Policy
  • Drug Policy
  • Weapons Policy
  • Student Housing
  • Sexual Assault Policy
  • Notice of Non-Discriminatory Policy
  • Fire Safety Information
  • Annual Disclosure of Crime Statistics
  • Emergency Telephone Numbers

This brochure is updated annually with the crime statistics for the campus. As part of the requirements of the College and University Information Act this brochure is available on this website to all students and employees of King's College. Hard copies are available at the Campus Security and Safety Office, Admissions Office and the Human Resources Department. Campus security reports are distributed through the Security Office or through the Office of Admission.

Your Safety and Security
King's College strives to maintain an atmosphere in which each student can grow and become a responsible member of society. Part of that process includes taking responsibility for your own actions, and learning to ensure your own personal safety and the safety of your belongings.

Everyone is a potential victim of crime. There is no absolute protection from crime, but King's College Security Services and the Office of Residence Life would like to offer some precautions that you can take to help you from becoming a victim.
