A: Tuition, room and board, and all other fees are due prior to, and as a condition of, registration. All accounts must be settled prior to the student's grade report being released or prior to having their degree conferred. No request for transcripts, recommendations, or other information regarding academic records is released unless the student's account is cleared. Q: Is a monthly payment plan available? A: Yes. Students preferring to pay semester charges in monthly installments are required to consult with the director of student accounts. Arrangements for installment payments are made prior to the beginning of the semester. Q: If there is a problem with making payments, whom does my son or daughter contact? A: Students encountering payment problems should contact the director of student accounts in the Business Office at (570) 208-5835. Q: What does my son or daughter need to do to reapply for financial aid each year? A: Students must reapply for all sources of need-based aid each year. Renewal FAFSA information will be mailed to all students' home address in December and need to be completed after January 1 and by March 15 for the following academic year. It is extremely important that students apply by the March 15 deadline so they do not miss out on any possible sources of assistance. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is also available in the Financial Aid Office as well as on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Q: Are there student employment jobs available on campus? A: Yes. There are numerous student aide positions on campus. To be considered for employment, students must have completed financial aid applications on file. The Financial Aid Office will assist students in securing college work-study positions which may be related to their academic course of study.
