FROM NEW ENGLAND AND SOUTHERN NEW YORK STATE:
Follow I-84 West to I-380 West to I-81 South to Wilkes-Barre, Exit 168, Highland Park Blvd. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre from Route 81.)

FROM HARRISBURG, PA. WASHINGTON, D.C., MARYLAND:
Follow I-81 North to Wilkes-Barre, Exit 168, Highland Park Blvd. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre from Route 81.)

FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA:
Follow I-80 East to I-81 North to Wilkes-Barre, Exit 168, Highland Park Blvd. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre from Route 81.)

FROM CENTRAL NEW YORK STATE:
Follow I-81 South to Wilkes-Barre, Exit 168, Highland Park Blvd. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre from Route 81.)

ENTERING WILKES-BARRE FROM ROUTE 81:
Take Exit 168 (formerly Exit 46), Highland Park Blvd. (Notice the First Union Arena on your right as you exit.) Follow the ramp to the stop sign and turn left. Follow Highland Park Blvd. to the traffic light at the intersection with Route 309 and notice the King's Robert L. Betzler Fields on your left. Proceed straight through the light at the Route 309 intersection. Highland Park Blvd. now becomes Coal Street. Follow Coal Street to the bottom of the hill and turn left onto Wilkes-Barre Blvd. Turn right at the next light onto Market Street. At the third light, bear right around Public Square. Stay in the right lane, and at the next light, turn right onto North Main Street. Turn left at the next light onto West Union Street. Go through one light at North Franklin Street, and the Admissions Visitors' Parking Area is on your right in the next block, directly behind the gray building on the corner. If this lot is filled, continue right out of the lot. Turn right at the River Street light and there will be another lot on your right between McGowan Hall and the Administration Building.

 

DIRECTIONS TO KING'S COLLEGE

FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK CITY AND VICINITY:
Follow I-80 West to Delaware Water Gap. Continue on I-80 west to either of the following. The first route is not advised during the winter months.
(1) I-80 West to Blakeslee exit Follow 115 North and (See Entering Wilkes-Barre).
(2) I-80 west to Pennsylvania Turnpike exit. Continue on Pa. Turnpike to first exit (Exit Wilkes-Barre). Follow 115 North. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre).

FROM CENTRAL NEW JERSEY:
Follow I-287 North to I-80 West, then continue to either of the following.
The first route is not advised during the winter months.
(1) I-80 West to Blakeslee exit Follow 115 Northand (See Entering Wilkes-Barre).
(2) I-80 west to Pennsylvania Turnpike exit. Continue on Pa. Turnpike to first exit (Exit 36 Wilkes-Barre). Follow 115 North. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre).

FROM PHILADELPHIA, DELAWARE, AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY:
Follow I-476 North (the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike) to Exit 36, Wilkes Barre. Follow Route 115 North into Wilkes-Barre. (See Entering Wilkes-Barre).

 

ENTERING WILKES BARRE:
Route 115 becomes Route 309. Follow Route 309 to Exit 3 (Wilkes-Barre/Plains). Follow the exit ramp to the traffic light and turn left onto North River Street. Follow North River Street approximately 1.5 miles. You will come to a traffic light at which you will see the Luzerne County Courthouse on your right. Go through this light and take the very next left onto West Jackson Street. Proceed to the second light and turn right onto North Main Street. Turn right at the next light onto West Union Street. Go through one light at North Franklin Street, and the Admissions Visitors' Parking Area is on your right in the next block, directly behind the gray building on the corner. If this lot is filled, continue right out of the lot. Turn right at the River Street light and there will be another lot on your right between McGowan Hall and the Administration Building.

 

CAMPUS TO BETZLER FIELDS

FROM HESSEL HALL,
KING'S ADMISSION OFFICE, NORTH FRANKLIN STREET:

  • Proceed up Franklin Street to the top of the hill.
  • Make a right onto North Street.
  • Continue on North Street to the fourth traffic light.
  • Make a right onto Wilkes-Barre Boulevard.
  • Turn left at the next traffic light onto Coal Street.
  • Proceed several blocks up Coal Street to the second light at the intersection at Route 309. Cross over Business Route 309.
  • Betzler Fields are past Sam's Club on the right.


FROM I-81:

  • Take exit 168, Highland Park Boulevard
  • At the end of the ramp, turn left. Betzler Fields will be on your left.
  • Be sure to check out the First Union Arena and Convention Center which you will see to your right as you exit I-81.

FROM THE TURNPIKE:

  • Exit the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Wilkes-Barre. You will be in Bear Creek.
  • Turn left down the hill toward Wilkes-Barre.
  • As you near the Wyoming Valley Mall, you will see signs for Route 309 N. Get into the far right lane and take the loop that will bring you to Route 315. As you exit the loop, turn right toward the mall.
  • Continue past the mall and go through 3 lights. At the "Y" at the fourth light, veer left onto Route 309.
  • You will see Wegmans on your left.
  • Just past Wegmans, turn left onto Highland Park Blvd. Betzler Fields are on the right just past Sam's Club.
