HEALTH CENTER - REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW STUDENTS
The completed health form is required of every registered full- time undergraduate student. Full time undergraduate students who do not submit a Health Form will not be treated at the Student Health Center . You should complete this section before going to your health care provider for the college entrance physical. Your health care provider must complete this section. All students are required to have a pre-matriculation physical examination. If you are planning to participate in intercollegiate athletics, * Athletes In order to practice or participate in any intercollegiate athletics you must have the following:
A student athlete cannot practice or participate in any intercollegiate sport unless they have submitted a current physical exam and insurance information to the Student Health Center. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania law requires that students provide valid dates of immunization against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR). A student who was born before January 1957 is considered to be immune and does not need proof of MMR. Proof of Insurance King's College requires that the following groups of students have health insurance:
For all other students, health insurance is strongly recommended. All resident students are required to have a signed Meningitis Vaccination Record on file regardless of vaccination status. The Meningitis vaccine is available at the student health center. A vaccination clinic is held at the beginning of the fall semester. The cost of vaccination is $100.00.
