INTRAMURAL AND CLUB SPORTS The intramural and club sports programs at King’s offer everyone on campus an opportunity to participate in athletic activities. While some enjoy competition, others may simply wish to stay in shape and socialize. Teams compete in intramural leagues, and playoff tournaments award prizes to the champions. Ice hockey and co-ed track and field teams, while not official varsity sports, are budgeted teams. They practice and play full schedules against fellow club squads from other four-year institutions, including competition at both the regional and national level should they qualify. Cheerleading is another athletic option available to King’s students. A staple at many of the College’s sporting events, cheerleading must perform difficult and entertaining feats to rally the fans.
