North Main Gateway is the newest addition to the King’s College apartment units. The apartment complex consists of thirty six (36) four bedroom apartment units, three (3) five bedroom apartment units, and one (1) three person (two bedrooms) ADA equipped apartment unit.
North Main Gateway presents a safe, spacious and learning-friendly environment. Residents are afforded the flexibility of apartment style living with the conveniences and advantages one expects while living on campus. Located on the corner of Main and North Streets, across from the Scandlon Physical Education Center, the new apartment complex has housing for a total of 162 residents living on three floors. Students entering their senior, junior, and sophomore year may apply for North Main Gateway residence, however preference is given by class year.
North Main Gateway offers the 12month contracts (Fall 2009 – Summer 2010 and 9 month contracts (Fall 2009 –Spring 2009)for residents depending on their needs. Please see the office of Residence Life for rates and information in regards to the 12 month contracts |
North Main Gateway features • two, four and five single bedroom apartments • sprinklers throughout the hall with smoke detectors and a fire alarm system • Fire extinguishers are provided in each apartment. • two elevators • exterior elevator and stair • security access system using student ID cards • individual mailboxes on the first floor • air-conditioning • all utilities included (electric, water, sewage, heat, garbage/ trash service, and basic television cable) • laundry rooms are on the second, third, and fourth floors which accept King’s Cash • wireless internet • vending machines • two lounges per floor. One lounge is a social/TV lounge and the other lounge is a quiet lounge with two computers |
