Description:The King’s Players is a student organization with the Mission of assisting the King’s College Theatre Department. Our organization offers all students this valuable opportunity to participate in various stage productions. In addition, The King’s Players contribute to the King’s community through service, entertainment and special programs off and on campus. Membership in the Players affords the students an opportunity to perform onstage and/or backstage. It is through these experiences where you can become a member of a close knit theatrical team. These experiences also afford us the opportunity to share out talents through various Volunteer performances for the elderly and for children. A Renaissance Faire is held at the end of each academic year as a fundraiser for a trip to Ontario, Canada to enjoy The Stratford Shakespeare Theatre Festival. The King’s Players meet once every two weeks in the Theatre. You are most welcome to come and check us out! Information regarding meetings will be posted at the Theatre as well as on-line. We hope that you will come and share your talents with the Theatre and The King’s Players.
