18 Nov 2009 - Maintenance will be performing power upgraded in the Admin Bldg.  PLEASE remember to power down your computers prior to leaving on the days of the outage (11/23 & 11/24 multiple floors)

27 Nov 2009 - We will be performing a phone system upgrade.  This maintenance will affect all phones on campus for about an hour.  There will be intermittent interruptions of service from 10AM & 6PM.


NEW - Communi-K Announcements folders no longer require logging in to read (you must still login to post or read/post in classifieds/discussions).  Note the box below that now displays the most recent announcement posts from Communi-K HERE in MyKings.  This box will ONLY display NEW threads, and not new posts added to existing threads.  We are also working toward RSS feeds from these forums so new posts will appears in your e-Mail.  Be aware this does mean that the general public can read our announcements so please post accordingly.  We do recommend any posts of a "sensitive" nature be delivered via e-Mail.

  • SUBSCRIBE!  As a registered user on Communi-K YOU CAN STILL RECEIVE E-MAIL ALL!  By subscribing to a forum such as Campuswide Announcements, you'll receive a daily e-Mail highlighting new posts.  Then you can decide to read them if you want.  You can subscribe to as many forums as you'd like and you can even subscribe to an individual thread.  Look for the Forum Tools menu at the top of a forum for subscription options.
     
  • Remember Me?  If you login to Communi-K from your own machine (home, office or residence room), Click on the Remember Me button when you login.  Next time you visit Communi-K, you'll be logged in automatically.  We do NOT recommend using this on a lab or public machine.
     
  • Sorting posts.  Would you rather see the newest posts in a thread at the top?  Click on the UserCP menu, then Edit Options, then under Thread Display Options choose Linear - Newest First and save your changes.
