King's College, Wilkes-Barre, PA
April 20-21, 2016
Deadline for submission of proposals for papers and panels: February 28, 2016
Global Landscapes Conference 2016, an interdisciplinary conference will assemble scholars, educators, students, and community members who are interested in examining important issues facing us as a humanity and who recognize the need for cooperation among different constituents to find sustainable solutions amid a changing social, cultural, political, economic, financial and technological environment.
This interdisciplinary conference has proven that world citizens need to care about various, local, regional, as well as global topics. An interdisciplinary approach shows that there are many ways to research and analyze a topic. For the past 8 years the GLC has enabled discussions provided by participants in the forms of presentation, poster and panel, and have enriched the ideas formed by the interactions with the experts.
The objective of the conference is to promote interdisciplinary discussion of the research topics within a global landscape across academic curricula, business practice and policy perspective.
The call is open to faculty and faculty-sponsored student research in all disciplines. The submission of student-authored papers is also welcome. Undergraduate research conference presentations are sponsored by the King’s College Chapter of the International Business Honor Society, Epsilon Chi Omicron. Proposals for panels and papers must be submitted latest by February 28, 2016 to the Conference Chair, Bindu Vyas, Ph.D. firstname.lastname@example.org, McGowan School of Business, King's College.
