Mission Statement

The mission of the Education Division is to provide future teachers with a broad-based liberal education in the Catholic tradition. We seek to prepare our students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be reflective practitioners, agents of change, and facilitators of the learning, growth, and development of all students in a diverse and complex world.

Vision Statement

The Education Division of King's College seeks to be recognized for its ability to effectively reflect upon and revise its own practices, and be perceived as a leader in educational innovation and reform. We expect our teacher education program to be viewed as exemplary in preparing outstanding teachers who are capable of reflecting on their practice and support and promote positive change within their institutions.
