King’s has hosted several MAC championship events because of the quality of our athletic facilities.
- The 33-acre Robert L. Betzler Fields is one of the finest facilities in the MAC for football, field hockey, baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse.
- The 13,000 square-foot John J. Dorish Field House features locker rooms, an equipment room, and an outdoor weight training facility.
- The William S. Scandlon Physical Education Center has a state-of-the-art sports medicine clinic, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, handball and racquetball courts, wrestling room, new locker rooms, and the Robert McGrane Basketball Arena with a seating capacity of 3,200. Outdoor basketball courts are adjacent to the Center.
- “The Mines”, King’s fitness center, is one of the finest weight training facilities at the small-college level. The 5,000 square-foot facility offers aerobic exercise machines and over 13,000-pounds of free weights. The College also features a completely outfitted wellness facility in Alumni Hall.
- The tennis teams play on the newly-surfaced courts at Kirby Park, one of the top facilities in the MAC. (The Kingston Indoor Tennis Center is utilized during the winter.)
- The golf team plays at the Wyoming Valley Country Club, a par 72, 6,391-yard course that is only 10 minutes from campus.
