APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR FRESHMEN
The most important criteria in the admission decision are the four-year academic record, GPA, strength of curriculum and overall rank in class. Recommendations, the personal statement, co-curricular activities, leadership and community service help to complete your profile.
We will consider your SAT/ACT scores if you choose to submit them, but they are not required. If you are not submitting SAT/ACT scores, an official graded paper from either junior or senior year and sent by your high school guidance office is required.
A completed application includes:
- A completed King's College application or Common Application for admission
- $30 fee (if submitting a King's College appllication by mail)
- Note: Online applications currently do NOT have an application fee (Excluding International Applications)
- Personal essay
- Official high school transcripts
- SAT/ACT scores or an official graded paper from either junior or senior year sent by your high school guidance office
- Guidance counselor recommendation
March 1 is the preferred application deadline for first-year students. Applications may be submitted after September 15 and are reviewed on a rolling admission basis. Decisions are released in mid-October. Once we have reviewed your application, we will notify you within two to four weeks.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERS
A completed application includes:
- A completed King's College application for admission
- $30 fee (if submitting by mail)
- Note: Online applications currently do NOT have an application fee (Excluding International Applications)
- Personal essay
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
- Official high school transcripts with SAT or ACT scores if available
Applications may be submitted after September 15 and are reviewed on a rolling admission basis. Once we have reviewed your application, we will notify you within two to four weeks.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
A completed application includes:
- Application using the Common Application for admission
- King's College International application on-line or by mail ($50 fee if submitting a King’s College application)
- Personal statement, which is part of your application
- Official high school transcripts (sent directly from your secondary school)
- Official TOEFL or SAT scores (sent directly from ETS or College Board)
- Letters recommendation
