King’s College has been awarded a $990,000 grant from the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to increase student enrollment in its Physician Assistant Studies Program. The five-year grant, funded by the Affordable Care Act Expansion of Physician Assistant Training Program, is designed to improve access to primary care services by increasing the supply of primary care physician assistants. Project funding will be used to support educational expenses in the amount of $22,000 per student for each of the two years of study in the King’s College Physician Assistant graduate program (total of $44,000). Up to 5 students per class will be selected to participate in the program so APPLY NOW for the 2 year Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) Program at King’s College.
Students accepted into the professional phase of the program will be eligible to apply for the $44,000 Federal tuition assistance grant program.
