Grant announcement October 27, 2010

King’s College has been awarded a $990,000 grant from the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to increase student enrollment in its Physician Assistant Studies Program. The five-year grant, funded by the Affordable Care Act Expansion of Physician Assistant Training Program, is designed to improve access to primary care services by increasing the supply of primary care physician assistants. Under the grant provisions, selected students will receive a minimum of $22,000 during the professional phase training, with a possibility of this amount increasing if additional grant funding is secured by King's College for those applying into the Program for the class entering in the fall of 2015. Up to 5 students per class will be selected to participate in the program so APPLY NOW for the 2 year Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) Program at King’s College.

Students accepted into the professional phase of the program will be eligible to apply for the Federal tuition assistance grant program.
