Living and learning in another culture offers students a life-altering experience, while providing them with the competitive edge that today's employers are looking for. Employers look with favor on students who have lived outside the U.S., since this demonstrates the ability to cope with new experiences and, in many cases, competency in a foreign language.
The opportunity to study, intern, or engage in service-learning abroad is available to all students, regardless of major, as part of their undergraduate education at King's. King's students are currently participating in education abroad programs offered on six continents. Popular destinations include England, Ireland, Italy, Spain and France, as well as Australia, China, South Africa and Peru. We offer many affiliated and non-affiliated programs through leading universities and providers, as well as short-term programs led by King's College faculty. All programs are geared toward broadening your perspective and coming to understand your place in the world. If you are not sure if studying abroad is right for you, read some of our student experiences to help you decide!
We can tell you how to get started, answer your questions and explain the various program options available to you. Information on scholarship opportunities will assist you in planning financially to study abroad. Once you have decided on a program, we will guide you through the application process and provide you with information on deadlines, course registration, and other useful resources to help you get ready for your experience.
