HONORS

In our competitive world, people who can think independently will have a considerable advantage over others who are seeking quality graduate school or career placements.

For students with particularly strong academic records, the Honors Program at King’s provides extraordinary learning activities designed to further the spirit of intellectual discovery. The honors program prepares the self-motivated, mature undergraduate scholar for the challenges that follow graduation through an individualized program of instruction based on personal goals and interests.

Because class size is limited to fifteen students, honors classes allow for plenty of discussion, the full development of one's ideas, and one-on-one interaction with the professor to a greater degree than in the non-honors classroom. The program offers academically gifted students the opportunity to challenge themselves intellectually through honors-level courses, independent study/self-designed major, off-campus learning excursions, and the sharing of ideas.
