STUDY ABROAD AFFILIATED PROGRAMS

King's has several affiliated study, internship and student teaching programs from which students may choose. All of our affiliated programs, chosen by the King's College faculty and administration, offer excellent academic and social opportunities for students in all majors.

Affiliated programs offer King's College students several advantages:

Just like home
The King's academic departments fully support our affiliated programs. Students participating in affiliated programs may take courses toward their major, minor, or core requirements. The difference between affiliated programs and non-affiliated programs is that you can earn King's credit and grades for your work. That means your study abroad credits will become a permanent part of your King's College transcript.

Financial ease
Students continue to be billed at the King's regular tuition fee, so families may continue with their regular tuition payment schedule. In exchange, King's covers the tuition fee for the study abroad program. In addition, King's students may continue to use the financial aid that they would receive-except for work-study, King's scholarships, and tuition remission benefits-to pay for the program. This means that federal aid, state aid, loans, and off-campus scholarships apply to program costs. It is important for you to meet with a counselor in the Financial Aid Office to discuss your aid package and any possible adjustments.
