King's Players offer holiday gift to the local community - Free children's play

December 10, 2007- The King's College Theatre Department will host a series of free performances of an original children's play at the King's Theatre on Dec. 14-15.
 
The King's Players will stage  “Wallace's Watch Tower ,” a play for children five years of age and older, at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, and at noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
 
“Wallace's Watch Tower ” explores the life of Old Wallace Chymer as he reviews his past and plots his revenge on the village for banishing him to live out his life in the Clock Tower. In a bumbling attempt to curse young lovers, Wallace kidnaps young Butternickle Blabbersmouth and forces Weldon Wippersnapper and his sidekick, Rufus Rumblebum, to come to her rescue.  Watch as the time ticks away and see if Butternickle and her love are reunited.
