King's PA program organizes Thanksgiving food and clothing drive
November 21, 2007 – Students in the Physician Assistant Program at King's College collected more than 250 items, including food items, jackets, gloves, diapers, bedding, and blankets for local families in need for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Physician Assistant program will donate the items to Luzerne County Children and Youth Services. Members of King's Physician Assistant Society, who organized the food and clothing drive, are (from left): Stephanie Benjamin, treasurer; Erinn Fuller and Pat Heagey, co-presidents; Jean Denion, advisor; Bret Stemrich, vice president; and, Melinda Smead, secretary.
