Miniature Art will be showcased in King's Widmann Gallery

November 5, 2007- Miniature creative works by The Cider Painters of America (CPA), a local group, will be on display at King's College through Nov. 25. Cider Painters work in the tradition of miniaturism; the group only accepts creative works painted on a surface no larger than 3" X 5", or the size of a standard note card.
 
The Cider Painters of America was founded in 1983 in Dallas, Pa. with the idea of creating public awareness and enjoyment of miniature art.
 
Artists from The Cider Painters of America will discuss their work during a gallery talk from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Widmann Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public.  Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., as arranged. The Widmann Gallery is located in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, between North Franklin and North Main streets.
