King's College showcases talents of local high school students

November 8, 2007- Original works by local high school students will be on display at King's College in The Fifth Invitational Emerging Artists Exhibition from Nov. 12 through Dec. 21.  This year's presentation, coordinated by artist Sue Hand, will showcase original works that pay homage to the teachers of the evolving young artists.
 
The young artists will discuss their work during gallery talks from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, in the Widmann Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public.  Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., as arranged. The Widmann Gallery is located in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, between North Franklin and North Main streets.

Note: The Emerging Artists exhibition and the Cider Painters of America Exhibition will share the Widmann Gallery until Nov. 25.
